On this page are some of the static models that I have made over the past 20 or 30 years to help in the design of my full-size boats at Selway Fisher Design - there are many more, mainly card models but the example below are the ones I used at boat shows and to show clients.
I have divided them up into their various different types and if you want more information about the designs, go to www.selway-fisher.com where you will also see a few models made by clients who have purchased the full plans.
The Baby Wren and Wren open canoes - all the canoes and many of the dinghies use thin aircraft modeling plywood.
The Thames 12 skiff and in front, my first stitch and tape model of a design I developed for an International Moth racing dinghy way back in 1975.
A rather sad model of the 16' Grey Swan - she was designed and this model was made in the 1970's and it hasn't travelled well.
Another view of the Micro 18 designed whilst I was working at Silvers (or D. M. Russell Marine as it was known then).
The Ceecan river cruiser - I didn't make this model myself - it was made by the client to partly work out the ergonomics of the interior and to prove the construction method.
